Plant transport from Italy to the United Kingdom
For years, H.Z. has been transporting plants from the grower in Italy directly to the United Kingdom. These plants come from growers in Italy who are then transported to a location in Brough (UK). In recent weeks, we have already started transporting herbs from Albenga (IT). And this week, the plants were stacked loose in a trailer. In this way, approximately three times as many plants fit in a trailer than when the plants are transported on CC trolleys.

We are committed to sustainability
Our aim is to transport at least 50% of the wagons that are loaded from Italy to Venlo by train. The train journey is 800 kilometres by rail, which means that we can achieve significant savings in CO2 emissions. A good step towards making the world a little better.
