Assistant Transportation Planner
Position Description:
As an Assistant Transportation Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the flow of transportation within our company. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring the transport fleet in real time
Assistance in planning routes according to transport requirements and restrictions
Constant communication with drivers to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and terms
Preparation of reports and documentation specific to the transport activity
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of using vehicle tracking systems or route planning software (an advantage)
Ability to quickly resolve issues that may arise during transportation or planned routes
Teamwork skills and effective cooperation with various departments such as logistics, warehouse or fleetmanagement
Attention to detail and increased attention to the accuracy of information recorded and transmitted
Flexibility in schedule and availability to work shifts or weekends as needed
Advanced knowledge of the English language
Advanced knowledge of PC use (MS Office, etc.)
Experience in the field is an advantage
