As an Assistant Transportation Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the flow of transportation within our company. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience.
– Monitoring the transport fleet in real time
– Assistance in planning routes according to transport requirements and restrictions
– Constant communication with drivers to ensure adherence to delivery schedules and terms
– Preparation of reports and documentation specific to the transport activity
– Basic knowledge of using vehicle tracking systems or route planning software (an advantage)
– Ability to quickly resolve issues that may arise during transportation or planned routes
– Teamwork skills and effective cooperation with various departments such as logistics, warehouse or fleetmanagement
– Attention to detail and increased attention to the accuracy of information recorded and transmitted
– Flexibility in schedule and availability to work shifts or weekends as needed
– Advanced knowledge of the English language
– Advanced knowledge of PC use (MS Office, etc.)
– Experience in the field is an advantage
